Lift out the cover so you can see straight down into the drain body.
Measure across the widest inside point of the opening (the throat), or the pipe just below it. Use inches or millimetres, either works.
Green Drain seals into the opening with flexible ribs, so match to the closest size. If you are between two sizes, size down to the pipe you are sealing into.

Your camera opens. Allow camera and location access the first time so photos and GPS both work.

GPS is captured automatically. Give the drain a clear label and jot notes: odor, condition, access, measurements.
